Trauma and Resiliency in the Infant/Toddler Care Setting With Jenny Vial – RfR Trainer and CCR&R Director Tuesday, March 26, 2019 6:00-8:00pm 2.0 CHCs total Cost: FREE! Child care and food provided, please indicate on the registration form if you need child care. Resilient teachers equal resilient children. Come learn about Reconnect for Resiliency (RfR) and the positive impact it can have on you and your classroom. This training will introduce basic strategies for helping you to deescalate your own stress as well as stressed out or upset children. Recommendations and suggestions will be made specifically for children in care ages 0-2.5. In order to attend this training, you must have completed the 14-hour RfR/CRM course, OR attended the Intro to Trauma and Resiliency training.  This model has been implemented with much success at Asheville City Schools Preschool, Buncombe County Schools, Asheville City Schools, and Verner Center for Early Learning. Resiliency skills are a valuable tool to help children and adults counterbalance the effects of stress, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and trauma in our daily lives.     FAQs Is my registration transferable?
