      Self-Care & Socializing (Beginner Yoga Series)

      Join Miranda for some fun self-care & socializing, a beginner yoga series happening every Thursday in October 2018.  ABOUT THE SERIES: If you've been curious about yoga and/or have been wanting to experience it's positive benefits for both mind and body but don't want to be committed to a studio or gym, or don't want to feel like you're the only one that doesn't know what's going on in the class, then this is the series for you! We will explore and use the basics of yoga to build the foundation for a simple, safe and fun practice. You'll learn tips that you can take home with you and incorporate into your life to help improve sleep, reduce stress, relieve pain and feel awesome! We'll provide yoga mats but you are also welcome to bring your own if you have one. In addition to practicing in a large, private event room indoors, we'll incorporate outdoor walking, yoga and meditation when possible as there are many additional health benefits to spending time in nature.  PERKS: Enjoy FREE warm herbal tea and some free time to socialize afterwards. Participants will also get 10% OFF food and drinks purchased afterwards at the Woodfire Bar & Grille restaurant located on site. SAVE $10 by booking the full series by Noon, Oct 4. ABOUT THE VENUE: This is not your typical Holiday Inn! Located just a few minutes from Downtown Asheville with free parking, this hotel has been recently renovated using local, recycled materials including native stone, vintage barn wood and corrugated metal throughout. The Woodfire Bar & Grille sources as much locally sourced meat and seasonal produce as possible. They have great views of the mountains, a heated pool and 2 acres of private forest trails and gardens. In 2017, the Holiday Inn Asheville-Biltmore East received the IHG® (InterContinental Hotels Group) 2017 Torchbearer Award, the company's most coveted award. ABOUT THE TEACHER: Miranda has practiced yoga since 2008 and completed her RYT® 200 Yoga Teacher Training in Southern India. She has taught or participated in international classes and training across North America, South America, Australia and Asia. She believes yoga is for every body and should be accessible to everyone.
