      EVENT DETAILS
      The Nutty Buddy Collective

Join the Nutty Buddy Collective at North Asheville Library for a discussion about developing sustainable, community-based forest agriculture in WNC and beyond. Established in 2014, the Nutty Buddy Collective is a local agricultural business dedicated to emulating the forest ecosystem indigenous to Western North Carolina. Through nurturing native tree crops, partnering with conservation-minded landowners, and building a cooperative network of foragers and growers, the Nutty Buddy Collective is dedicated to the idea that forest agriculture can be a life-giving force for both communities and the environment. This event will focus on the collective's work and on the variety of ways in which interested community members can get involved, and a selection of the collective's locally produced culinary nut oils will be available for sampling. As always, the event is free and open to the public.
