      Jade Doskow: Lost Utopias

Lost Utopias is an exhibition of works from New York-based photographer Jade Doskow. The show opened on June 1st, and will run through July 28th.

For the past decade, Doskow has been documenting the remains of World’s Fair sites, once iconic global attractions that have often been repurposed for less noble aspirations or neglected and fallen into decay. Doskow’s photographs poignantly illustrate the utopian architecture and art that has surrounded the World’s Fairs, across both the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

She is an award-winning photographer based in Brooklyn, New York, known for her rigorously composed and eerily poetic images that examine the intersection of people, nature, and time. This series has been featured in numerous press outlets including Architect Magazine, Elle Decor Italia, American Photo, Design Observer, Design Arts Daily, Photograph Magazine, Dwell, Slate, and Wired, among others.
