      FemCity Asheville : The Breakfast Club: Women's Accountability Circles

      FemCity Asheville is hosting a new monthly morning program called "The Breakfast Club: Women's Accountability Circles." The event is free to attend and is only open to FemCity Business Members. (Not a member yet? to learn more)Accountability Circles connect passionate, motivated small groups of women business women to provide objective and actionable advice for the specific challenges and opportunities you face with your business. Discussions cover all aspects of running a business or working in business, from reviewing a marketing brochure to handling a difficult customer or developing new business areas. FemCity Asheville Accountability Circles are facilitated in a roundtable format and require confidentiality. You will share experiences, be held accountable to action plans, get fresh perspectives to solve problems, make decisions and gain critical insights. All this while forging a powerful peer network of fellow women in business. The Deets:These Accountability Circles will be held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 8:30 - 9:30 AM at Habitat Tavern and Commons, located at 174 Broadway Street next to Moog Music. Space is limited to 50 women and participants will be divided into smaller groups AKA “Accountability Circles” of 4 women. Each table will have facilitator willing to keep time and stick to the presented format. All women will have an allotted time to share their current challenge or goals followed by group contributions to crowdsource support and ideas. All women in each group will have a chance to share. Women are able to forego their turn and ‘donate’ their time to the collective circle if they so choose to do so. Be sure to bring a pen and paper to keep up with all the ideas and suggestions.Accountability Circles are a place to: foster an inclusive environment by creating and encouraging an open exchange of ideas and information among women. get accountability, support, and encouragement from like-minded, local business women share your experience and knowledge to support other women in their personal and professional growth. leverage the wisdom of other women’s experience in your business. push past your fears and insecurities and be safe to be vulnerable in a supportive environment. create a soul-nourishing, balanced mindset about your business. define visions of success and devise the path to accomplish your goals. MORE ABOUT ACCOUNTABILITY CIRCLESSmall GroupsAccountability Circles are comprised of 3-4 women who meet to share experiences and challenges, exchange ideas, and to help and support each other as part of their professional development.ConfidentialityMeetings are confidential, which encourages members to share freely. Confidentiality is key to realizing the full potential of Accountability Circles, and members will be asked to sign confidentiality agreements.Building Community and ConnectionOne cornerstone characteristic of Accountability Circles is that they automatically attract women who are in alignment with the group’s purpose.
