Emily Breedlove's Event Blueprint Workshop Series

START GETTING THE RESULTS YOU WANT Hosting events is one of the most frustrating and complicated projects that you can ever do! They are expensive, unpredictable, and a painfully visible platform to build your reputation on. However, events are still a sacred component of any community, since lasting progress can only be made by bringing people together. So, while they are extremely challenging, events done WELL can transform, and are worth figuring out. Now, whether you're coordinating educational workshops, networking gatherings, large conferences, or multi-day retreats, there is actaully a common Event Blueprint which helps to ensure greater success. There are some simple steps to take, questions to ask, and templates to follow which can save you a ton of time and money. THE INTENSIVE TRAINING The face-to-face workshop series will include three 2-hour intensive classes which will cover the following components: Strategy & Structure Branding & Storytelling Sponsorships Facilities & Partners Selling Tickets During the training, Emily will work with the small group of attendees to start from the ground up on how to plan programs that sell. She will share her best practices on identifying event topics which appeal to the masses, offer tips for crafting brands & stories which easily convert thousands of people, and provide her own templates for Sponsorship Kits, Insurance Packages, Facility Agreements, Promotional Partners, and more. There will be 2 times offered for attendees: you can select the Morning Series supporting For-Profit Companies (9 - 11 AM) of the Afternoon Series supporting Non-Profit Organizations (1-3 PM). Seating is extremely limited to only 15 people per cohort. A limited number of scholarships are available upon request. MORNING SERIES: FOR-PROFIT EVENTS The Morning three-part workshop series will be focused on the elements associated with events that are tied for a for-profit company, therefore have the intention to turn a profit, build a network, and position for upselling. These types of evenst can include gatherings like small-group retreats, workshops, networking events, luncheons, conferences, and more. The workshops will focus largely around how to strategically position and leverage events in order to rapidly grow your business. The Morning Series will be hosted at the Goodwill Training Center on 1616 Patton Avenue Road, in Room 197 for the following days: Thursday, April 25th from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Thursday, May 9th from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Thursday, May 23rd from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM AFTERNOON SERIES: NON-PROFIT EVENTS The Afternoon three-part workshop series will be focused on non-profits and the types of events which meet the needs of a 501(c)3. This training will highlight the ways non-profit organizations leverage events in order to fundraise, spread the mission, recruit and retain donors, and enhance strategic partnerships. The workshops will discuss types of programs like curated donor events, partner retreats, community events, largescale fundraisers, and some emerging models which create more sustainble and diversified funding opportunities. The Afternoon Series will be hosted at the Goodwill Training Center on 1616 Patton Avenue Road, in Room 202 for the following days: Wednesday, May 1st from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 15th from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 29th from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM WORK 1-on-1 WITH EMILY Attendees also have the option of working one-on-one with Emily during the month of May for some private consulting around their Event Strategy & Brand. Over that time, she has worked with everyone from non-profits, government agencies, corporations, entrepreneurs, and advocacy groups. But at the end of the day, they all have one goal: more 'butts in seats.' Having finally learned the 'hard way' how to successfully build, package, and sell high-traffic events, Emily is sharing her Blueprint with a small group of local attendees. For the first time ever, she will teach a three-part intensive workshop series and offer her one-on-one advisement to help event planners more successfully host in WNC. Have questions?
