
Join Museum staff Saturday, April 18, 2009 from 8:30am-5pm for the latest offering in the Museum's "Explore Alabama: Natural Wonder Series," a fun-filled day on Terrapin Creek. This paddle trip is a great way to spend the day with friends and family. YouâÂÂll float down this scenic waterway on a sit-on-top kayak. The trip takes approximately 8 hours so be prepared with sun block. And bring plenty of water, snacks and a lunch. Experienced museum staff members serve as guides and share interesting facts about the natural history of the area. * Experienced paddlers only, please. Appropriate for 12 years old to adult. Reservation required by April 14th. Space limited, book early (max 12 participants) $45/member; $55/non-member.
