      Sun & Moon Poetry Festival

      The Ohio Poetry Association invites you to the Third Annual SUN & MOON POETRY FESTIVAL, September 13-15, 2019, in Yellow Springs, Ohio, where poets and poetry lovers will celebrate nature and the cosmos on the campus of Antioch College and the Glen Helen Ecological Center, immersed in workshops, readings, and the beauty of the Nature Preserve. Keynote speaker and poet Jim Daniels serves as Thomas S. Baker University Professor of English at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He is the author of seventeen poetry books, most recently, Rowing Inland and Street Calligraphy (2017) and The Middle Ages (2018). He has edited six anthologies, penned six collections of fiction and four screenplays, and, in collaboration with photographer Charlee Brodsky has shown his work in many a gallery. Befitting our festival, he will be sending poetry to the moon as part of the Moon Arts Project in 2020. REGISTRATION *A weekend pass allows free access to all events and workshops led by Ruth Awad, Dionne Custer Edwards, Joe McKeon, Terry Hermsen and Mark Peters.*Jim Daniel’s workshop is limited to 25 participants and requires separate registration while his reading is open to all festival registrants.*Dionne Custer Edwards’ workshop is open to Antioch students without festival registration but with student ID.*While the Farm-to-Table Dinner is included in your registration, a separate sign-up is required as well.
