Advocacy Event: Answering Community Needs with 2-1-1.

Join United Way of Greater Toledo for its third quarter advocacy event, Answering Community Needs with 2-1-1. Our short, 45-minute breakfast program, will review United Way’s recent 2-1-1 transition to Gryphon Place in Kalamazoo, Michigan, how 2-1-1 can save taxpayer money by addressing nonemergent 9-1-1 calls, as well as other public policy initiatives we hope to accomplish to uplift this vital program. Councilmember Sandy Spang will lead the conversation around the strengthening of a 2-1-1 / 9-1-1 partnership, as a way to save the time and resources of fire, EMS and police respondents.
