Fall Camp Spark – Igniting Knowledge!

MoLab, Inc., a not-for-profit organization, provides dynamic, hands-on, inquiry-based science experiences through a mobile science laboratory that promotes discovery. Fall Camp Spark will offer students 5 years old through the 8th grade the opportunity to participate in art and science activities in a fun, interactive, and safe environment. Each daily session will present campers the opportunity to explore science through creative play and experimentation. The sessions present age appropriate curriculum and are designed to provide students with engaging educational activities that are both informative and entertaining.

Fall Camp Spark will be held at Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church, 1700 N. Meridian Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303.

Monday, November 25: Slime Time – Discover matter, molecules, and mixtures with your favorite substance – slime! Get hands on with all sorts of concoctions from Non-Newtonian fluids to Marshmallow slime. Exploring chemistry is always fun when it’s a messy goo-fest!

Tuesday, November 26: Geology Rocks! – Dig into a dynamite day exploring all things Earth. Hands-on discoveries abound as you build an edible plate tectonics model, explode a volcano, make marbleized art, and encounter a replica of a real triceratops femur!

Wednesday, November 27: Thanksgiving Smorgasbord – It’s a colonial cornucopia of scientific exploration! Engineer a pilgrim fort, explode a pumpkin, make cranberry spy juice, dissolve a candy corn, and more!

Daily Camp fees are $45 per day, which includes lunch and 2 snacks. A discounted rate is available for additional siblings.

Extended Camp care is available starting at 7:45 a.m. for $5/day and until 6 p.m. for $5/day.

Camp Spark makes learning fun and links Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) concepts to the real-world.
