Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Join us as we light the Town Christmas tree at Big Gem Park! Enjoy free refreshments, Christmas caroling and marshmallow roasting at the bon fire, listen to the story of the Christmas tree, while waiting for Santa to arrive on the fire truck! Christ United Methodist Church will lead the Christmas carols. Bows in honor or in memory of loved ones will decorate the fence and the gazebo at the park. A list of those being honored or memorialized will be in the kiosk. Mayor Lucas will read the legend of the Christmas tree story. Santa will arrive by fire truck and children will have the opportunity to tell Santa their Christmas wishes at the gazebo! Each child will receive a candy cane. Everyone is invited to this event at Big Gem Park!
