Fly-Tying Demonstration: Chrissie Clapp and Bruce Ross, Oct. 12 & 13, 5-7 pm

The Sacramento River and its tributaries will be the theme for the October exhibit at the Main Event Gallery, 710 Main Street, Red Bluff, featuring works by artists inspired by the River and its immediate environs; including water, plants, birds, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, insects, and fish.

Water is necessary for our very existence and is an essential element to life in and around the North State for agriculture and recreational activities. A fly-tying demonstration will be offered in the Gallery by fly-fishing enthusiasts Chrissie Clapp and Bruce Ross, with the opportunity for attendees to make their own.

The exhibit coincides with the 26th annual Return of the Salmon Festival held at Coleman Fish Hatchery, Anderson, Saturday, Oct. 20th, celebrating the return of the migrating Salmon from the Pacific Ocean via the Sacramento River.
