      Map Conversations

      Opening on May 4th in the Sarah K. Newberry Gallery is Map Conversations, an exciting exhibition of work by undergraduate and graduate Florida A&M University architecture students working with professor Valerie Goodwin. These students have been experimenting with designing in fabric and the exhibition will be a fascinating exploration in this medium. Artists included in this exhibition: Jermaine Archer, Alysha Brannon, Toinita Briggs, Zach Browning, Jayla Cash, Ana Filiponne, Barbara Hammond, Jalin Harrington, Brandon Holiday, Joms Hus, Edgar Lara, Sharrond Pinder, Mikal Rodgers, Jamarious Smith, Regine Swanson, and Shannon Williams.

      Cost: Payment required - Exhibition Admission Gadsden Arts Members and Children 17 and under: FREE Non-member Adults:$5-$10 ArtZone and Fletcher Museum Shop: FREE Galleries and Museum shop are open Tuesday through Saturday, 10am-5pm. The ArtZone is open, admission-free, Fridays and Saturdays 10am-5pm.
