      The Last Butterflies: A Scientist's Quest to Save a Rare and Vanishing Creature

      The February meeting of the Wild Ones Red Cedar Chapter will feature guest speaker Dr. Nick Haddad from the MSU Department of Integrated Biology. Dr. Haddad will share highlights from his new book "The Last Butterflies: A Scientist's Quest to Save a Rare and Vanishing Creature". The book focuses on six extremely rare butterflies that are being pushed to the brink of extinction. It explores the challenges of tracking these vanishing butterflies, why they are disappearing, and why they are worth saving. Please join us for what is sure to be a fascinating and eye-opening presentation. All are welcome to attend.
