Her Ted talk about generations at work has been viewed over 1.5 million times.Georges, an assistant professor at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, approaches most questions as if they are 50 percent math problem and 50 percent art project. Her training at the intersection of social psychology and law taught her that facts are rarely altogether factual, answers are seldom black and white, and the most fascinating explanations happen in that gray area in between. It's a mess in there, but it's worth it.            Lunch Keynote   Elizabeth Edwards – The Latest Science of Being Heard New mind research is revealing fascinating data about our evolving communication preferences. Join us to learn the latest science-backed techniques and recommendations to communicate effectively with co-workers, peers, and customers such as the single most powerful word for creating understanding.   Edwards is an award-winning communicator, speaker, and author, who founded Volume Public Relations in 2001, and 11th Octave in 2018. Her behavior-based communication practice has led to the development of a map of guidelines to the laws and effects that govern how our minds are hard-wired to be positively engaged, which was named by Forbes Magazine as the #1 Marketing Technique to Shake up 2019 and has been employed by brands from Transamerica to BMW to Allstate to HomeAdvisor.       Conference Agenda7:30 – 8:30 am: Registration, Breakfast and Networking   8:30 am: Welcome address from Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union CEO, Mary Madden8:45 am: Breakfast Keynote – Leah Georges, Ph.D., M.L.S.9:30 am: Session 1 (Two Concurrent Breakout Sessions)What Shape is Your Funnel In? - Andrea Feinberg, President & Master Coach, Coaching Insights, LLCIf you've done any baking, you probably have an instinctive awareness of a funnel.
