      Conifers of Lassen Volcanic National Park

      Learn about the diverse mix of pines, firs, and other tree species as you are led on a snowshoeing expedition beginning at the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitors Center at Lassen National Park. Shasta College Botany Professor, Susannah Fulton will share her knowledge about the conifer species found in this winter wonderland. Snowshoes will be provided, lunch and warm drinks are included.

      Shasta Land Trust's Wildways series of fundraising events is a fun and unique way for people to contribute to the preservation of significant lands in northern California. The 19 Wildways events of 2019 feature a diverse array of unique adventures that include exclusive access to protected properties, beautiful open space, and other secret spots throughout the area. Hosted by volunteers, all proceeds from ticket sales support the Shasta Land Trust's mission to conserve local land.

      Cost: Payment required - Ticket price $35 children (age 5-15) $5. Guest Limit 20
