      Taking Your Non-profit to the Next Level

      This monthly SCORE 'Brown Bag' Lunch and Networking Workshop* is dedicated to the education and training of small businesses. Monthly topics and speakers will vary. This FREE program is held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 11:30am to 1:00pm.** *This is a bring your own lunch event. Our topic for this month is "Taking Your Non-profit to the Next Level". PRESENTER: Carol Drake Wheatley, SCORE Advisor and a retired Organization Development and Grant Consultant working with non-profit organizations throughout the country. "Taking Your Non-profit to the Next Level" is a fast-paced, intensive "how to" plan to get your organization to a point of profitability and sustainability. It covers the factors necessary to ensure success; how to manage staff, board and volunteers; organization structure; and funding optimization. This seminar is for any person who currently operates a nonprofit organization and is looking for proven strategies to help the organization function in excellence, grow at a tempered and controlled pace, and reach its intended mission. Check-in will take place between 11:30 - 11:45am. The program will start promptly at 11:45am. The monthly event will be held in the Chamber’s Conference Room and is open to both members and non-members.
