Data-Waiver Training for Clinicians: JCC education seminar

Thursday, November 14th, 2019 – 12:15pm - 4:30 pm. Data-Waiver Training for Clinicians - JCC education seminar CME application pending for attendees of this event! Join us for a 4-hour in-person training of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) data-waiver. Qualified Clinicians may apply for waivers to treat opioid dependency with approved buprenorphine products in any settings in which they are qualified to practice, including an office, community hospital, health department, or correctional facility. We are encouraging all clinicians and clinical teams interested in medication assisted treatment to attend this training.  If maximum participation is reached preference will be given to Clinicians who are not yet DATA waivered. What is MAT Data-Waiver Training? The PCSS-MAT Half-and-Half Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) waiver training course provides an overview of the FDA-approved medications - buprenorphine, naltrexone, and methadone - prescribed for the treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD). The course provides an overview of prevention, identification, and treatment of substance use disorders, emphasizing OUD.  This workshop is FREE and includes continental breakfast. Attendance is limited, so please RSVP For questions: Paul Carson
