2021 Southern Oregon Polar Plunge for Special OIympics Oregon

Get a team together – colleagues, schoolmates, church, or family and literally “take the plunge” to benefit Special Olympics Oregon athletes. The Southern Oregon Polar Plunge is held annually at the Rogue Valley Country club and raises more than $40,000 each year for sports trainings, competition, and wellness programs for athletes with intellectual disabilities. S. Oregon plunge teams literally “plunge” into a 40-degree outdoor pool! It’s a big party with live music, free food, and hot drinks for participants. Sponsored by Lithia Motors - in 2021 we will have social distanced and virtual options for all levels of participation. New this year are also VIRTUAL options for 5K/10K and Super Plungers (24 plunges in 24 hours)! All Plunge participants fundraise to plunge or watch the event, which engages more than 500 people annually and supports athletes in Jackson, Josephine, and Klamath counties.
