      Boomers, Gen X, Millennials and Gen Z are more than labels. There are differences between these broad groups of individuals. The differences impact how they consume, work, play, and dream. This presents challenges and more importantly opportunities for today’s business leaders. ABOUT OUR SPEAKER Gregory J. Fine, CCIM Institute Executive Vice President and CEO, is a recognized association executive and leader with more than 21 years of demonstrated success in helping membership-based organizations grow and prosper. As the Executive Vice President and CEO of CCIM Institute, he heads up a 13,000-member professional association, with members located in 30 countries. Prior to his current position, Fine served as the Global CEO of the Turnaround Management Association and before that as vice president of marketing and communications for the Association for Corporate Growth. Beginning his career in nonprofits and trade associations, he was the director of communications and marketing, as well as the executive editor of FORUM magazine for the Association Forum of Chicagoland. Fine's association tenure includes a broad range of positions in senior management, government affairs, membership, marketing, and communications. While he works in the association community, Fine also is actively engaged in nonprofits. He has served on the boards of ASAE, ASAE Foundation, and the Association Media and Publishing. Fine is faculty emeritus for the Chamber's Institute of Organizational Management and served on the faculty for NYSAE and the Association Forum of Chicago CAE prep courses. He was invited to join the ASAE Fellows in 2017 and awarded ASAE's Certified Association Executive designation in June 2003. A prolific writer and speaker, he has written for FORUM, Associations Now, and Signature magazines and made presentations to audiences all over the world about strategy, leadership, multigenerational workforce, association trends, social media, membership, marketing, and volunteerism. Among many awards, Fine received the 2017 Association Forum's "Inspiring Leader" award; the 2009 "Young and Aspiring Association Professional" by Association TRENDS; and the Angerosa Research Foundation's inaugural 2008 "Publishing Trendsetter," an award recognizing innovation that advances association publishing. Born in Montana, at the age of 18, he became one of the youngest elected officials in the state's history when Fine was elected to the Missoula County High Schools Board of Trustees, a post he held for nearly five years, including tenure as board chair. Fine earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Montana and currently lives in Chicago.
