      Kweilyn Taylor Survivor Retreat: "Anchored in Hope"

      Please join us for our Annual Cancer Survivor Retreat for men and women sponsored by Saratoga Hospital. Choose from many inspirational sessions including the LiveSTRONG program, Mindfulness, Yoga, Nature Walking, Art, Dancing and Nutrition.  Hear Connie Bramer share her inspiring and comical cancer journey! Take part in complimentary Reiki, Massage, Belly Dancing, Essential Oils/Oil blends, Skin Care, Crafting and Nature throughout the day. Lunch, snacks and water provided. Raffles will be plentiful (each participant earns tickets, and additional tickets are available for purchase-all proceeds go back into the Cancer Patient Fund). Overnight accomodations for Saturday night at Wiawaka Center for Women are available (there is a charge for the room and donation for dinner).  Please contact Wiawaka directly at 518-668-9690 ,Option 2, to book your room and continue the fun! Inform them that you are with the retreat to get the discounted rate of $65 pp. FAQs How will the day commence? You will register between 8:30am-9:15am.  You will receive a packet with the program, your session choices and a map of the grounds.  Continental breakfast and coffee is available, and the Main Session will start at the Big Tent at 9:15am. Is the event free? The Retreat is free of charge. Please bring cash or a check if you wish to purchase additional raffle tickets or a t-shirt. If you are planning to stay Saturday night you need to reserve and prepay directly to Wiawaka. We are requesting a small donation to cover some of the cost of the meal Saturday evening. What can I bring into the event? Please dress comfortably in layers and for the Adirondack weather.  Bring an umbrella if raining (we will have sessions inside if it is raining).  Bring a yoga mat if you signed up for yoga. If you are staying overnight bring warm clothes for the camp fire. Is there handicapped access? There is a chauffered golf cart available for the mobility impaired.  Some of the grounds are uneven, however many of the sessions take place in and around the Main Tent where the ground is flat.
