      Our wine list is full of little-known gems from family-owned vineyards around the world. It's only fitting to celebrate them with a proper family dinner. This month, we pair old world cuisine with new world wine. We're globetrotting, matching wine from France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Portugal with cuisine from their new world counterparts in New York, Washington State, Uruguay, South Africa, and Australia. FIRST COURSE Zweibelkuchen traditional bacon and onion pie with Emmenthal cheese and yogurt caraway crust, dressed field greens, and dill cucumbers Boundary Breaks Dry Riesling (Finger Lakes, NY) A reflection of German winemaking SECOND COURSE Whole Roasted Red Snapper lemon, herbs and salsa verde, roasted bell pepper, onions Garzon AlbariƱo Reserva (Uruguay) A reflection of Spanish winemaking THIRD COURSE Porchetta crispy skin roasted pork belly stuffed with garlic, herbs and fennel olive oil and oregano salsa, roasted squash, red onions, sage CasaSmith "Cinghiale" Sangiovese (Washington) A reflection of Italian winemaking FOURTH COURSE Duck Ballotine Duck breast stuffed with duck confit and hazelnuts, raspberry gastrique, pommes lyonnaise Rupert & Rothschild Merlot Blend (South Africa) A reflection of French wine making DESSERT Leite de Creme Baked Custard cinnamon, cardamom and lemon, caramel iced sugar crust Tawny Port Victoria (Australia) A reflection of Portuguese dessert wine Dinner is elegant, yet informal - hors d'oeuvres, plus four courses served family style - deftly executed by chef Joel Souza and his team. Guests are seated at tables of 8-10, ensuring you make a new friend or two. Our wine director, Sam Cote, is on hand to explain each wine and answer questions. Absolutely no forced pairings or boring lectures! We limit seating to ensure dinner feels intimate.
