Maybe you have a collection of fossilized shark teeth or old coins you’re excited to show. Join us as we learn more about geology and archaeology. What did my back yard look like 10,000 years ago? Did giant beavers or woolly mammoths ever play there? Why have fossilized sea shells been found on mountain tops? We’ll “dig” for fossils, study cool rocks, and explore an old cellar hole. We’ll make cave art, mud adobes, primitive tools, and clay pots. So don your Panama hat and let’s take a trip through time! For elementary school students, grades 1-6. Bring a lunch, snack and a water bottle in a backpack. A portion of each class will be held outdoors. Please dress in layers and wear warm, waterproof boots.Wed, 10:00 AM - 1:30 PMBrown Lane BarnAges 6-12 | Grades 1st to 6th
