      Classifying Supernovae - Stars that Explode

      Astronomers need to classify stars that explode into different groups to learn more about them. This hands-on program will have you classifying stars that have exploded by analyzing their spectra.

      Presented by Yssavo Camacho-Neves, an astrophysics PhD student at Rutgers University. Her research focuses on the supernovae that helped us learn that our Universe is expanding faster and faster!
