In line with the introduction of mandatory elements of PSHE in 2020, we are offering a chance for those secondary school staff who missed out on the initial round of PSHE training to attend a further chance to attend. The objective of the project will be to develop confident and skilled delivery of PSHE and RSE thereby promoting resilience in Devon’s young people. Please see below a description of one of 5 free whole day courses that are on offer to your school staff. (we would encourage you to attend all of the modules, however each module can be attended as a stand-alone course) Protecting Young People against Exploitation Designed and developed by Devon County Council's Reach Team  Attendees will be able to identify the context of CSE and missing episodes, including vulnerabilities, indicators and the impacts of the internet and social media on young people. They will be given an understanding of a range of approaches with young people to build resilience and protective factors, how to signpost to other agencies and the formation and function of the Missing and CSE meetings.
