If you've always wanted to know how to start speaking or simply to improve your confidence when you have to stand and speak in public, come along to this mini masterclass... a taster of Woman Who Speaks with Sandra Garlick (Founder of Woman Who, Public Speaker and Author). Do you fear speaking in public? Do you hands go clammy, your throat tighten and does your mind go blank? Do you want to say something different to make you stand out for the right reasons? Then this session is for you. Learn how to stand up with confidence, without notes and without the use of slides to give a confident performance every time. For more details about Woman Who visit our website. FAQs What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? There is plenty of free parking at the venue. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No. Just register on entry. Do I have to be there for 9.00am? No, we have deliberately set the formal part of the morning to start at 9.45am to enable those with caring responsibilities to attend without rushing, although you are very welcome to join us anytime after 9.00am. We finish prompt at 11.30am, although you are welcome to stay to ask questions, practice your new learned skills and utilise the facilities at the venue to continue your networking. Are men allowed to attend? Of course, the more the merrier. Is there a dress code? Most attendees tend to wear business dress but there is no formal dress code and we would rather that you were comfortable and relaxed. Can I leave before the end? Of course, our events are very relaxed. You can come and go at any point during the morning or take urgent calls.
