      A Woman's Journey In Housing  Join us for our next event, 'a woman's journey in housing' with Hannah Blythyn AM, Deputy Minister for Housing and Local Government.  At this exciting event you will have the pleasure of hearing from 2 inspiring female housing professionals, followed by our main speaker Hannah Blythyn AM. You'll hear from each of them as they talk through their experiences, passions and drivers as well as sharing some great advice, personal challenges and the Welsh housing sector hurdles they have faced!Refreshments and a light breakfast will be served courtesy of Moneypenny. About Hannah Blythyn AM:  Hannah Blythyn is from Flintshire in North East Wales. A proud North Walian, she went to school in the constituency she now serves. Elected in 2016 and appointed into her current role in 2018, Hannah has vast knowledge of the housing sector and plays a key role in Government to support the work of the Minister for Housing and Local Government on matters such as: Supply and quality of market, social and affordable housing; homelessness and housing advice; regulation; and regeneration. Hannah will be sharing her personal career journey, including why she chose a career in Government and how she got there, her greatest achievements and future aspirations still to accomplish. You'll also have the chance to put your questions to Hannah in an open Q&A.We're excited to invite for the first time, two of our very own members and housing professionals into the spotlight, to give their insight to their journey in housing.Speaker 1: Maya Waud - Maya started her career in housing as an apprentice, and has a unique outlook on a journey in housing as a young professional, with much advice to share to those embarking on a career in the sector. Speaker 2: Jen Griffiths - Jen is an Operations Manager within a Local Authority, Jen will be talking through her own personal experiences and achievements as well as sharing some unique challenges currently faced working in Housing in North Wales. After we've heard from all three of our inspiring speakers, you will have the opportunity to take a tour of the pioneering Moneypenny offices which have been said to rival the offices of Google and Apple, with a design brief to 'ignore the norm and create a space that inspires', it's certainly not to be missed! Including a tree house meeting room, nature trails, vegetable gardens and even its own pub!! A huge thank you to Moneypenny who are kindly providing a spectacular venue and refreshments.
