      Wind Day 2019

      A day for students (from years 3 to 8)  who can play wind instruments: flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon & recorder from beginner to intermediate level. Your son/daughter has been recommended for Wind Day where they will have the opportunity to play in a Wind Band at their level. The day will consist of a mixture of fun musical activities with wind ensemble playing at the heart of it all. Timetable:08:50 - 09:10 Registration09:10 - 12:00 Rehearsal sessions12:00 - 12:40 Lunch12:40 - 14:00 Rehearsal sessions14:00 - 14:30 Concert14:45 End of day (please arrange for your child to be collected promptly) What to bring:- Your instrument- Any accessories you need to play - all clearly labeled (i.e. reeds)- Your packed lunch Squash and biscuits will be provided at break time. As this is a school day, we ask that your child wears his/her school uniform. A short concert of pieces which have been prepared during the day will start at 14:00. Families and head teachers are most welcome to attend this at The Leslie Rose Auditorium at Stevenage Music Centre, The Nobel School. Please note that there is NO parking on site at The Nobel School.
