      EVENT DETAILS
The Somme: a Peaceful Place to Remember

Renowned Somme battlefield specialist, David Norman, will present his illustrated talk on the Somme of 1916-18, with details of places to visit, an introduction into the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and information on some of the many cemeteries of that area of Northern France. The talk will last an hour and each member of the audience will be provided with a map handout. Doors open at 7pm.  FAQs What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? There is no parking at Tudor House, although there is on-road parking opposite and an NCP car park at the end of Friar Street. Bus and train stations are a 10 minute walk from the museum.  What can I bring into the event? Yourself and any questions you might have for David. Refreshments can be purchased on the night.  What's the refund policy? Your ticket cannot be refunded if you can't attend but you can transfer it if you need to. Please let the organiser know in advance. If Tudor House has to cancel the event, we'll refund you.
