      Snow & Ice in Georgia

Ever wanted to climb a frozen waterfall or glide down powder snow against the backdrop of some of the most imposing mountains on the planet? Join our trip to Georgia for a chance to climb the ice, ski the slopes and trek the foothills of Georgia with us this winter! IS THIS FOR ME? No prior experience in any outdoor activity is necessary to join. This is a multilevel trip. First timers will have the chance to try out all the activities under professional instruction and the leadership of our LHO team. For the more experienced, you’ll have the chance to put your skills on more challenging icefalls and slopes. Only interested in doing one of the activities for the whole trip? No problem at all. The itinerary is totally flexible and you can tailor it however you’d like. Just let your team leader know the night before and all the arrangements will be made. WHAT’S INCLUDED? We always run an airport to airport service. This means that we’ve got you covered full board from the moment we pick you up until the moment we drop you off. All meals, guides, private road transfers, resort tickets, rentals, photography, videography, permits and of course our customary welcome and farewell receptions are included. We even give you our tailored fitness and nutrition program to help you feel confident and prepared for this adventure. All you need to do is get yourself to Tbilisi Airport. WHERE ARE WE HEADING? We’ll be staying in the Kazbegi region of Georgia in the shadow of the infamous Mt Kazbek (5,033m), home to several famous waterfalls that are prized amongst ice climbers. It is also home to the Gudauri ski resort, fast becoming a regional and global attraction with lifts reaching over 3,000 meters in altitude and stunning views across the region all the way over into Russia! ACCOMODATION The Sno Hotel in Kazbegi is our basecamp. The hotel is very comfortable and has all the amenities to be expected from a good hotel. We’ll be returning to the same hotel every night so there won’t be the added hassle of having to pack and unpack.
