      Salt Spring Emergency Resilience Training (SSERT)

      The Salt Spring Island Emergency Program is proud to launch their first session of SSERT, free of charge to residents! SSERT is a training program designed to help residents of Salt Spring Island protect themselves, their families, neighbours and neighbourhoods in an emergency situation and also potentially help first responders. Taught by First Responders and other experts in their field.  Training includes: fire extinguisher, triage first aid, hydro and home safety, radio communication, chainsaw and generator safety, evacuation technique, POD management, home preparedness and more! Class limit of 20.  This is a 12 hour program. You must be able to commit to all four nights.  Night 1 – November 24, 2019 - 1800-2100 Night 2 – November 25, 2019 - 1800- 2100 Night 3 – December 02, 2019 - 1800-2100 Night 4 – December 04, 2019 - 1800-2100 Questions?
