PF Annual Charity Workout & Potluck of Meaning

Precision Fitness is hosting a Charity Workout & Potluck of Meaning this January in support of Anjali House Kids. Bring the dish that means the most to you, grab a workout, and raise money for a great cause. The Potluck of Meaning is a unique concept inspired by Precision Nutrition's annual gathering. The concept is simple: you bring a dish that really means something to you, try the dishes that matter most to everyone else, and have a great time together After having such a great turnout the previous years, we thought we would make it a yearly event at the home of Precision Fitness and add an entirely new series of workouts to really make things fun! Tickets are available now. 100% of ticket sales and donations raised go to Anjali House. Quick Summary The Potluck of Meaning: Everyone brings a dish that means something to them. 3 Brand New Workouts To Try: *New* workouts happening prior to the potluck. Ko8 Energize + Y-Bell Strength and Tone + PF Flow The Venue: Precision Fitness HK, 11/F, Jade Centre, 98 Wellington Street, Central, Hong Kong The Cause: All money raised goes to Anjali House, to help support underprivileged children through education, healthcare, and the arts. Take a look: VIDEO: INTRO TO ANJALI HOUSE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: What kind of dish should I bring? Wow. For some, you may need to dig deep here to really think of a dish that has meaning to you. What dish did you grow up with? What story does it have and how do you talk about it with others? Maybe this is a dish you loved as a kid; or something that reminds you of home or a loved one. It doesn’t need to be complex or elaborate, keep it simple if you like. In fact, one of our members regularly pops up with homemade flapjacks and we love them! At the end of the day, it’s your choice! The only “requirement” is to bring a dish that means something to YOU! :-)  How much food should I bring? We suggest bringing enough to give 20-25 people a little taste. Will there be a place for me to heat up my food? Other than a microwave - not really - we do not have a kitchen, so if you can, bring a dish that doesn't require reheating. We do have a small fridge in case you need to store dishes during your workouts. What if I can't bring a dish? No problem-o! We gotchu covered! Just purchase the “I won't have a dish but want to donate” ticket. Enjoy our workout series, good food, and meaningful conversation all for a great cause.  When and what are the workouts? We have 3 brand new classes happening: 10:00 am Y-bell Strength and Tone (25 minutes) - Book your spot here 10:30 am Ko8 Energize (25 minutes)  - Book your spot here 11:00 am PFit Flow - Restore and Regenerate Workout (25 minutes) - Book your spot here To join one of these classes, purchase your ticket above *THEN* register for your class here: BOOK YOUR WORKOUT HERE OR BY USING ANY OF THE LINKS ABOVE *All requests are processed in the order in which they are received. Between 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Can I invite others? Yes, bring a friend...or two! Can I be a sponsor? Absolutely! We are always happy to work with a few sponsors for our events. If this is something you're interested in, shoot us an e-mail at and let us know how you would like to be a part of our event. What is Anjali House? The Sanskrit word “Anjali” translates to “offerings” in English. Anjali House is a house of offerings for local children in need. In addition to ensuring the children are healthy and happy and providing them with both education and avenues for creative expression. Anjali House offers their children skills and opportunities, which will help them find success and fulfillment in the future. This aligns so well with our vision and values at Precision Fitness as we’re always looking for opportunities to develop and serve our community through education and support.  You can check out all the inspiring things they’re doing along at their website.  Can you tell me more about Precision Fitness? You bet! Precision Fitness is a boutique fitness center in the heart of Central, Hong Kong, which is redefining the industry by creating a best-in-class experience to every member. Through personal training, group classes, body makeover challenges, nutrition and sleep coaching, to targeted fitness programs for pre-wedding transformations, we are huge proponents of taking a big-picture approach to helping you become healthier and happier. To learn more, visit our website and check out our most popular 4-Week Weight Loss Challenge here Why a potluck? After hearing about Anjali House through a long-time member of PF, I quickly realized that I wanted to get more involved in supporting the future of these underprivileged kids and youth through education, healthcare, and the arts. I always loved the concept of a potluck for charity after discovering it through Precision Nutrition. The idea of coming together in a welcoming and supportive space, sharing different types of cultural dishes and customs with our community is exactly what PF is all about – connectedness. So I thought why not make this happen here in Hong Kong and do it while raising money for a great cause?  - Ryan Charem [Founder of Precision Fitness]
