      Managing Adult and Child Safeguarding in Your Organisation

      An interesting, full day course for senior management teams, charity trustees and company directors of all sectors working with vulnerable groups, their families or carers. The session will teach participants to identify and plan actions needed to ensure their organisation is meeting it's legal safeguarding 'duty of care' and maintain their safeguarding arrangements in line with legislation, government guidelines and regulatory requirements. Course content; Policies and procedures Safer recruitment Staffing Managing concerns and allegations Crises and media management Quality assurance Training strategies Legislative responsibilities And much more... Our multi-agency developed training is suitable for all settings where there may be vulnerable service users including health, education, leisure, non-profit and voluntary sectors. All places include; Certificate of attendance (valid for 2 years) Comprehensive training pack Refreshments Free parking This course is in line with CQC, Ofsted, Charity Commission and best practice guidelines, as well as local safeguarding board requirements. The session meets the educational criteria for verifiable CPD, under the GDC's enhanced CPD scheme and represents 6.5 hours, aligning with learning outcomes A, B and D.   FAQs What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? The nearest train station is approximately 3.5 miles away and the venue is also on a local bus route, however anybody travelling by public transport is urged to double check travel times before booking.
