      Local Food and Foraging Night

Causeway Coast Cookery Event         Whether a first timer in the kitchen or a really good cook - our classes will suit everyone.  With award winning local resident chef Chris Furey at the helm, everyone is able to keep up and work at the same pace. Chris began his cooking career over 25 years ago. He has worked across Ireland from Galway to Co Down, now becoming a popular name in our beautiful North Coast. Working alongside greats such as Gerry Galvin, James Kealy, Danny Millar and Tom kitchin has given Chris a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise which seen him win Northern Ireland’s chef of the year 2018. This class will last up to 3 hours. This is a practical class where you will learn to work with local Co Antrim dexter beef, a steak dish and a slow cooked dish using this beautiful local beef and local beer. You also you will learn about local mushroom foraging and use these ingredients in your dishes. Each dish will be paired with some wonderful local craft beers.  This can be a fun night out, a corporate team building event or just learning to entertain with a difference!
