      EVENT DETAILS
First Nations Health Engagement Session on Governance Planning

You are invited to a Community-led Governance Project Engagement Session -  a 1-day conference aimed at encouraging New Brunswick First Nations participation in exploring the need and readiness for a New Brunswick Tripartite Structure in relation to Health programs & services on First Nations. The three New Brunswick Tribal Councils (NSMDC, MAWIW & Wolastoqey) will be hosting this session.  It will be facilitated by the Tribal Councils and Project Consultant Denis LeBlanc.  We will be discussing challenges you have faced as an employee of a First Nations Health department or treatment centre, sharing best practices and success stories, and getting YOUR feedback on how you would like to see this project proceed. Add your voice and your community's insight to these ongoing and significant strategies involving our communities, our futures, and our own governance. One night accommodation and travel expenses will be covered for each approved attendee. Breakfast & lunch will be provided.
