How do we enhance Coventry & Warwickshire - a seminar on regional growth

Join Deeley Group at our exciting event, where an in-depth research study will showcase how we can support the growth of Coventry and Warwickshire’s economy. Coventry & Warwickshire LEP have commissioned a Market Signals and Market Intelligence Study to provide Coventry & Warwickshire’s Local Authorities, Warwickshire County Council and the LEP an update on current market conditions and employment supply in the region. The authors of the study, SQW Limited (formerly BBP Regeneration) will detail the findings which include the need for a strong planning policy to ensure that the right sites are delivered on the right terms, and at a viable cost, together with a growing view that public and private sector collaboration is essential in order to achieve this agenda and support the region’s growth. Finally, putting the research into practice, David Harley, Head of Regeneration at Be First, will provide details on how Barking and Dagenham have tackled their economic challenges and in particular their work around employment / industrial intensification, the co-location of key uses, and specialist initiatives in specific sectors such as the development of new Film studios and maker space. This event is aimed at developers, contractors, architects, project managers and quantity surveyors but would also be suitable for businesses across the region who want to hear more about how your local authorities are working to put Coventry and Warwickshire on the map and drive economic growth. We must share best practice and lessons learnt from other regions, to enable us to enhance our own.
