      Delirium, Dementia and Frailty Conference

Together, we enhance patient care and can help make a difference. After a successful inaugural event last year, we're bringing delirium, dementia and frailty out of the shadows and into the light at a dedicated conference this November. Last year’s conference brought together over 150 healthcare workers, partner agencies, patients, carers and the community to hear about our work in this field. So, if you are a healthcare worker caring for patients in an acute or community setting – this is the conference for you. (including qualified nurses, healthcare support workers, nursing and residential home staff, doctors, mental health workers and volunteers). You will have the opportunity to hear from a variety of expert speakers including Liz Sergeant, integration health and social care lead (NHS Emergency Care Improvement Programme) and Dr Shibley Rahman, Queens Scholar; BA (1ST Class Honours), academic physician by training, with a particular interest in well-being and long term conditions. Spaces are filling fast – don’t miss your chance to book this free of charge event on Tuesday 5 November, starting at 9am until 4pm at the BMAT STEM Academy (Velizy Avenue, Harlow, CM20 3EZ). While the conference is free to attend, there will be an opportunity throughout the day to donate funds towards developing our dementia sensory garden at PAHT, helping to make a difference for our patients living with dementia, their families and carers.
