"This is life-altering. My perspective has completely changed." "I am so glad that I took this course now, at this point in my life." "I have been looking for a sense of community and this course helps to fulfill that need." "I read this book years ago, but practicing in person makes all the difference." Using Marshall Rosenberg's book "Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life", we will explore how our bodies express when our needs are met and when they are not. Using specific language, we will practice articulating our feelings, identifying the needs that those feelings are trying to reveal, and practice strategies that will help us to meet our needs. This course is 9 weeks long, 1.5 hours per week. We meet in person so that we can practice the skills in ways that encourage deeper connection and reflection. The cost of the course is $222 and it includes a copy of the book and helpful handouts. Even if you have read this book on your own, practicing in a weekly small group setting will likely lead to a deeper understanding of the concepts and more chances to practice Babes in arms are welcome to join in. We are running a consecutive Playborhood program for kids ages 4-12. Facilitated by Erin Fleming
