      Bee Aware - Open Day at Botanika

      Botanika is pleased to invite you to their “Bee Aware” Open Day in Hobscheid on Sunday, 30 June from 2pm to 5:30pm.  Various workshops and activities are organised, such as: Having fun extracting and painting with plant dyes; Visit a garden plot of bee-friendly plants; Visit a beehive; and A stroll around the Botanika flower garden to take photos of the pollinators we find.  Install iNaturalist app on your smartphone.  The last 2 activities require registration.As the flower garden attracts pollinators, some of which can sting, your particiaption in the garden and its activities related to pollinators, including honey bees, wild bees, wasps and hornets, is subject to:I understand that when outdoors there is always the risk of insect stings. To the best of my knowledge, neither I nor my child(ren) are allergic to stings. I and my child(ren) agree to follow the instructions of the presenter and to wear the protective gear provided for the beehive visit. By participating in this event, I take responsibility for myself and my child(ren). Plants that provide food for pollinators (known as melliferous plants) will be available for purchase, with proceeds being donated to Bee Together.Parking can be found on the streets nearby to Botanika, such as on Bickeltchen, Hobscheid.
