Welcome to Vegan Socials by Imperial Valley Wellness Collective! Join our Facebook Group! I.V. Vegan Socials 2019 This is a vegan social group based in El Centro, CA. Our primary objective is vegan gatherings, a space where vegans and vegan curious can get together and share vegan food and activities. We are also inclusive other towns including Calexico, Holtville, Brawley, Imperial, Heber & Seeley. We want to make veganism easier for you with social support, encouragement and fun activities. We also believe in learning and informing the Imperial Valley about the benefits of eating a whole-food plant-based diet for optimal nutrition and health, environmental sustainability, compassion and mindfulness. We work with groups and provide support for individuals in transitioning to and/or maintaining a whole foods plant-based, animal-free diet and being conscientious stewards of the environment.Some of our activities have been going to cafes & restaurants to try their vegan menu items, vegan potlucks, dinner parties, movie screenings, bike rides, camping, field trips, gardening, community projects and workshops. Some of us are lifestyle vegans, others may simply be committed to plant-based nutrition. And still others might be leaning towards veganism or vegan-curious. Maybe you’re a vegetarian. Maybe you’re an omnivore. Well, whatever you label yourself (or don’t label yourself), join us and please, spread the word. We are an all-inclusive group. I.V. Wellness Collective is an independent pod from the PlantPure Communities Pod Network.
