WoTRS Cultural Outing to Theater J: Occupant

WoTRS Cultural Outing to Theater J: Occupant Sunday, November 17 2:00–4:30 PM (not including lunch) This event is open to ONLY Women of Temple Rodef Shalom (WoTRS) and/or TRS women members. 20 maximum participants. Theater J, DC Jewish Community Center, 1529 16th Street, NW Washington, DC The nationally renowned Theater J DC is presenting Occupant, written by multiple Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, Edward Albee. Since this play is about a strong Jewish woman, Louise Nevelson, who significantly contributed to the art world during the 20th Century, we thought it would be a meaningful experience if we went to see the play together as a group of Jewish women. The play features a fictional “interview” of Ms. Nevelson from beyond the grave where we get to witness “the deep inner turmoil and intrepid triumphs” she experiences as she attains fame in the art world. If you choose, the group will be meeting for lunch, at 11:30 AM at Trio Bistro, 1537 17th St NW, Washington, DC. You will pay on your own own for your meal and gratuity.Options to join the group: (1) West Falls Church Metro at 10:30AM (2) Trio Bistro at 11:30AM or (3) Theater J at 1:30 PM.
