      An Evening with Simon Parkin

      Simon Parkinwill be discussing his new exciting history book A Game of Birds and Wolves: The Secret Game that Won the War a jaw-dropping story of how a game of battleships won the battle of the Atlantic, and subsequently the second world war. This brillant book is already optioned for a dilm dead with Stephen Spielberg's company Dreamworks. They've commissioned Vicky Jones - Pheobe Waller-Bridge's cowriter on Killing Eve and Fleabag - to write the screeplay. Simon Parkin is an award-winning writer and journalist for magazines, newspapers and websites. He has written pieces for the New Yorker, Guardian, and Observer.
