      Grillmaster Basics 2019 (ages 10-13)

      This camp is designed to give youth an opportunity to develop skills in good food prep hygiene and safe grilling conditions while also teaching them more about food safety and industry standards. This hands-on, learn by doing camp will have campers excited to show off their newfound grillmaster skills with the family. At the same time that youth are mastering these skills, they are also gaining valuable life skills such as critical thinking, decision-making, leadership, and responsibility. Camp attendance is on a first come, first served basis and spots will NOT be reserved. Please note - Transportation from Williston, Chiefland, or Yankeetown will only be provided if there are a minimum of five (5) youth at a specific location that need transportation. Campers are not permitted to be dropped off prior to 8:00 AM and must be picked up by 4:30 PM. In order to complete registration, payment and the following forms must be turned into the Extension Office no later than 4 pm Monday, July 15, 2019: - Florida 4-H Participation Form- Florida 4-H Medication Form We will still be accepting in-office payments of exact cash, checks or money orders made payable to the University of Florida at the Levy County Extension Office (Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM). The registration fee for in-office payments will be the same as online payments.  For questions, please call 352-486-5131.  We look forward to your child attending camp this summer!   FAQsAre there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Campers MUST be at least 10 years of age and no older than 13 years of age by June 1, 2019. Youth must provide documentation with proof of age (i.e. - birth certificate, school records, etc.)    What's the refund policy? There will be NO REFUNDS issued.   Can I update my registration information? Please contact the 4-H Office at (352) 486-5131 to address any updates to your registration information. Will meals be provided? Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
