Plant-Based Moroccan Christmas Feasts with Lerato Umah-Shaylor

Let Lerato inspire you to spice up your dishes this Christmas! In this seasonal class, you will learn to make a Moroccan roast squash centrepiece with a variety of seasonal vegetables, nuts and seeds; a sumptuous harissa stew with aubergines and chickpeas; jewelled bulgar with pomegranates and fresh herbs, and a refreshing salad of heritage carrots and a ginger orange glaze. Lerato’s cooking is inspired by her African heritage, the continent's rich diversity and a love for seasonal and local produce. Her cookery class is hands-on and you will cook in teams before sitting down to feast together. Bring your own bottle to enjoy with the feast at the end of this spicy journey through traditional and contemporary Moroccan cuisine. The class is plant based and great for most diets, from beginners to experts, leaving you inspired to add African vibrancy into your cooking.
