Climate Conversations: changing minds, not just lightbulbs

The climate crisis presents the biggest imaginable challenge to 'business as usual'. But climate change is not just an innovation problem, it is a very human and social problem, notoriously immune to reason and logic. So what’s to be done? Conversations are one of the most powerful tools we have for creating large scale consciousness shifts - conversations are how we evolve our collective thinking and change the story we are all a part of. But not all conversations are created equal - we need to learn and practice a different way of talking about the climate crisis that emboldens us, brings us together, invites others in, and fosters unconventional thinking for business reimagined. This is an experiential workshop for exploring together all of the above. It is led by Susannah Raffe, climate conversations facilitator and unconventional thinker. GOOD TO KNOW: Tea, coffee and biscuits provided. Limited spaces available to keep the workshop small and participatory, so that you get the most out of the session. Ticket price is to cover venue costs only. This session is part of Meaning Fringe, a week of events and opportunities to learn, share and laugh with fellow travellers on the road to better business. At the heart of Meaning Fringe is progressive business conference Meaning. Happening on 14 November at Brighton Dome, Meaning is the unmissable event for people who believe that business has a critical role to play in addressing the challenges of our time.
