      The Event: The 2019 Boots & Bells Gala benefitting Hope Rising - a local anti-human sex trafficking organization - will take place in the beautifully appointed Barnhill Center in Historic Downtown Brenham, Texas.  Catered by Connie Wilder and the Funky Art Cafe, guest will enjoy live music provided by Jack Carr and Ryan Elise Fatheree. Enjoy an evening of Christmas festivities, including a live and silent auction as together we join to fight sex trafficking and raise awareness of sexual abuse within our own communities.  Human Sex Trafficking, A Growing Concern: Sex trafficking is headline news. But what is it? Where is it? And how can you be aware and help protect your own families as well as children of the community?  Rescue & RehabilitationHope Rising is a Texas based 501c3  dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of minors affected by sex trafficking and/or sexually abusive living situations. Through their long-term foster care model and world-class equine therapy program, survivors are able to experience full-healing and live successful and productive lives, free from the shame and stigma of their previous sexual abuse.  Training & Awareness Hope Rising provides on-site  training as well as online social platforms dedicated to educating the public. in the following areas: 1) Recognizing the signs of sex trafficking 2) Increasing awareness within local communities 3) Equipping caregivers to proacitvely combat online sexual threats within their own home.
