Living with native carnivores: How to prevent conflicts and coexist with Oregon’s iconic cougars and other wildlife

Conflicts with carnivores like cougars and bears are on the rise as a result of increased human development and recreation in or near wildlife habitat, as well as healthy wildlife populations in Oregon. Join the Humane Society of the United States and Mountain Lion Foundation to learn about the coexisting with cougars including the importance of coexistence and why conflicts occur. We will also discuss ways to prevent conflicts with humans, pets and livestock and what to do if a conflict occurs. Light snacks and refreshments provided.
