      The Central Valley will be hosting an educational symposium focused on intersegmental pathways on Friday, November 15, 2019 in Bakersfield, California. The following educational policy leaders will be speaking: Eloy Oakley California Community Colleges Chancellor Lande Ajose Senior Policy Advisor for Higher Education in Governor Gavin Newsom’s Administration Tony Thurmond CA State Superintendent of Public Instruction At this symposium, educational leaders from K12, community colleges, CSUs, and UCs will converge in one space to discuss efficient and effective policies and practices to advance baccalaureate completion in California.
