Explore the Asheville Landscape with local contemporary artist, Peter Roux, as he guides you, novice or expert, through a 2 hour painting! Join Peter to paint an 8x10" or 10x10" Asheville inspired landscape in acrylic. With a collection of reference photos on hand, you'll be guided step by step to create your masterpiece. You're welcome bring your own photo or object as inspiration. All experience levels are welcome, with direction and technique demonstrations to help you achieve the painting you envision.  Plan for 2 hours, beginning with a brief discussion of Peter's approach to landscape painting in the adjacent Sky + Ground Contemporary Art. If you're seeking a private lesson, for yourself or your group, please book all 6 spots (Great for an in depth technical exploration, or a more relaxed romantic date or an exclusive group activity!) You will leave with: *a beautiful piece of custom art  *more confidence in your creative ability  *connection with your fellow artists *a deeper understanding of the Asheville landscape ----- Peter Roux is an accomplished, award-winning fine artist with work shown in numerous galleries nationally.  He has unique perspective on mixing landscape and abstraction, as you will see in his current work.  He has 20 years of teaching experience, from paint & sip parties to university level painting and drawing classes and 1-1 mentorships.  He aims to create an experience for visitors and locals alike to explore creativity and sense of place while connecting with others and making art inspired by the Asheville landscape.   FAQs  Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
