Thanksgiving Blot to Njord

Heill Olllum, In a spirit of thanksgiving Falcon Kindred will gather yet again at Falconstead in Olympia, Washington and celebrate our heritage with a mead blot to Njord the god of wealth got from the sea. Guests will be recieved at noon and blot will take place at 2:00 P.M. Please bring your own drinking horn or vessel for ritual. Drinking horns are available for purchase through Falcon Kindred. Freedom of Religion T-Shirts and Reginherjar cd's will also be available at this blot. A formal feast in honor of Njord will be served at 4:30 P.M. Please bring a dish for the table, beverages and snack food for pre-feast munchies. Sumble will take place at 6:30 P.M. fireside or in the hof if it is raining. It is very important that you rsvp with the number of people in your party. Please note start times of event activities and be on time. We ask that late comers not interrupt rituals in progress. Bring drums and other musical instruments. Sing us a song. Recite poetry. Show off what you have committed to memory from our lore. Please bring a $5 dollar donation for our honey fund. Donations will be given to the kindred's mead brewers to purchase honey to make our mead. Falcon Kindred looks foreword to this event with great anticipation. We hope to see you there! Skal!
